SAINT LOUIS, MO- After a four year run with Jimmy Greene leading the Billikens back to prominence, Coach Greene opted to step down after the 2015 season to focus on his daughter's blossoming lacrosse career. What Coach Greene accomplished in just four years is nothing short of amazing, taking the Bills from an also-ran to a contender in the GRLC, dropping a one goal heartbreaker in the GRLC playoffs to NAIA Varsity opponent Lindenwood-Belleville.

Looking to build on what Greene accomplished is TJ Allman. Allman takes over as Head Coach for the team he once led as the goalie from 2009-2012. Allman, part of the Mike Sennett coaching tree (well known in Missouri), also spent the past 3 seasons as an assistant for the Bills. His experience and knowledge of the team meant he was the right fit for the job. Allman inherits a strong mix of youth and experience that he hopes can lead the team to success in 2016. Allman added, "After playing at SLU for 4 years, becoming the head coach is a real honor. The progress that the team has made since I entered the program has been astounding. It is my responsibility now to keep this program moving forward." Team President Grant Kirkpatrick added, "Coach Allman has been a part of this program for the past 3 seasons, and has played a part in rejuvenating the atmosphere, dedication, and all around level of SLU Lacrosse. We expect a continuation of this success as he takes a bigger stop in leading this team."

Also returning to the team is Tom Schmidt, the former Head Coach at Washington University, who led the Bears to the 2012 MCLA National Championships. Schmidt, in his second season at SLU, will continue as Offensive Coordinator for the Billikens while working around his full time job and student status at SLU.

Assistant Coach Brandon Knox comes back to SLU after a stellar 4 year playing career, where he notched 53 points. Knox will also assist on the offensive end for the Bills, bringing his knowledge of Attack to the program. The Ohio native spent the summer playing for Team USA in the Down Under Cup in Australia as part of the USA Athletes International Program. Knox also works full time for the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club of the National Hockey League.

Scott Underwood D.C. continues to provide athletic training services for the Billikens. Dr. Underwood's specialization in ART Therapy has helped significantly reduce missed field time due to injury over the past 4 seasons.

Lilly Mehdirad, a Sophomore at SLU, returns as the team manager for the 2016 season.
